Happy 10th Birthday Taylor!

Today we had a great party with nine other boys for Taylor's 10th birthday.  I can't believe he is a decade old!  

We had a Star Wars themed "Jedi" party complete with obstacle course (some of the little boys called it the "optical" course), Jedi balancing challenge, Jedi belching contest, (Taylor and Daddy were of course the winners there), and light saber creation project.  

It was a fun time had by all.  

Taylor, we love you and are so proud of who you are becoming.  God is at work in your life and we can't see what he has in store for you in the future!

First Day of School - Charis Classical Academy

Today marks the beginning of a new educational institution in Madison, WI, Charis Classical Academy.  I couldn't be more proud of my wife for her faithful leadership of the board and school over this past year.  It certainly has been a labor, but a labor of love and we are believing that God will use this educational model for his glory in decades to come in Madison.  May it be so! We had a LEGO theme and the boys (and our girls) had a fun LEGO building competition.  Kim out did herself as usual with the Star Wars themed cake.
