So at 28 mo., Emery is starting to talk a bit more, but he has pretty much been a man of silence until now. Actually, he is trying new words all of the time and even combining two words together. Before this time, he must have been using his little mind to observe and take it all in (sounds like his older brother). Here is an example of how his little mind has been working...
I got this puzzle a couple of months ago in the $1 bin at Target (my favorite place :)) thinking it was way to advanced for Emery but he could grow into it. We did this probably a handful of times together with him doing more and more of it. We put it in the closet for awhile and kind of forgot about it. One night last week, while we were reading with the older kids, Emery got it out and finished the whole thing by himself. I think we may have a little engineer brain in the making :) (If you can see there is a piece missing which drives him crazy!)
