First Time Ice Skating

What better time to try ice skating for the first time than when there are equal number of adults to children :)! Autumn has been begging to go ice skating for quite some time, but since Zach has never been and it has been probably 15-20 yrs for me (could I really be that old?), it has hard to get super excited about taking 4 children under 8 yrs old out for the first time. So when my parents were here for a weekend and this coincided with great weather, we decided it was the perfect time. We left Mya at home napping, and took the older 3. Emery was not quite sure if he liked the ice or not, but Autumn and Taylor just took off like they had been skating all their lives, not afraid to take a couple of spills. I am happy to say, ice skating is kind of like riding a bike :) We had a great time and will be looking for our own skates for next winter. Living in Madison, we might as well take advantage of the winter :)
